- Use about a tablespoon of olive oil in a small bowl. Apply some to the palm of your hands and begin working the oil into your hair. It really doesn’t matter whether you start at the roots or on the ends, but when you get to the scalp, you will want to use your fingertips (not fingernails!) to gently massage the scalp and allow the oil to work into the pores.
- Wrap up your hair in a water proof shower cap and allow it to sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Begin showering – be careful not to slip in the oil as it goes down the drain. You will need to repeat the shampooing probably three times to get all of the oil out.
- Allow your beautiful locks to air dry.
